Middling

The safest place to be in CrossFit is somewhere in the middle. Not the best, not the worst.

Somewhere in the middle, you’re safe from the pain of best and safe from the disappointment of worst.

Except, somewhere in the middle is a dangerous place to be. It's riddled with the dangers of exactly the same things that make it so safe – familiarity, comfort, ease.

'Meh'.

You have to move out of the middle. Get out of your comfort zone. 

Pack away the pink kettlebell. Flip the box on its 'other' side. Stick an extra 10lbs on your bar, pick it up and move out of the middle.

Don’t be 'meh'.

Be better.
