Pretty Awesome

CrossFitters are athletes. Not body builders.

There are no mirrors in our gym.

Yet, there is still too much pressure on aesthetic goals. The perfect body fat percentage, jacked abs, skinnier jeans, a smaller butt, a bigger butt, boulder shoulders.

Forever chasing perfectionism.

Thing is, does perfection really exist and let’s be honest. If we get there will we be satisfied?

Will it ever be enough?

If we focused less on looking fit and more on actually being fit…less on looking pretty and a bit more on making that power clean pretty, we’d all go a lot further.

CrossFit is not about aesthetics.

It’s about getting after a sense of achievement. How much better can you get? How can you turn weaknesses into strengths? What else can you learn?

It’s about feeling good and becoming better version of yourself.

A kick ass body is simply a side effect. Which let's be honest...doesn't suck.

It's just your inner awesomeness shining through your body like rays of sunshine through a window.

Now that's what I call pretty.
