Nobody said it was easy

It’s not easy being a CrossFitter.

In fact, it’s damn hard work.

Imagine if it didn’t matter if you didn’t show up. If you just felt like skipping a day, or taking it easy - no one would know – or care. You wouldn’t have to do burpees, or heavy thrusters. Maybe watch a little TV, read a magazine instead. Wouldn’t even have to break a sweat if you don’t feel like it.

Everything would be so easy.

Now imagine the feeling you get when you don’t feel like showing up, but you do, and you’re glad you did. Or when you push outside of your comfort zone and realize you were capable of more than you thought, or when you crash down the barbell after that very last heavy thruster, when you PR your deadlift, finally string together more than 3 double unders or cheer on a friend through the last few difficult reps of a wod.

It feels damn good, doesn't it?

It’s easy to forget that the path to success, achievement, and all that awesome feel good stuff is filled with challenge and hard work.

It’s also easy to forget that it’s worth it.

It’s not easy to be a CrossFitter, but it is worth it.
