Definitely be a long drawn out chipper. Like a Bradshaw.

Most tacos eaten at one time! True story!!


What are 3 things you can’t live without? 
My daughter, wine and steak

I’m thinking of starting P90X. What do you think? 
LOL! Man aerobics!

Is there a method behind your programming? 

Definitely a method. I have a bias towards strength training, so I like to program in at least 3 days focusing on strength with short duration met cons after. Usually a push (overhead lifts) a pull (deadlift, clean or snatch) and some sort of compression exercise (any squat, front, low bar, high bar, front etc). The other days, longer duration metcons (chippers, high round triplets and couplets). I usually program for at least 6-8 weeks out including a crush week and deload week. I generally pick movements that I think need focus.

How many days a week do you recommend strength training? 

I would say at Least 3 times per week, focusing on a push (overhead, pull deadlift, clean or snatch and compression, any squat)

What do you recommend we do outside of class to build up arm strength?

Outside of the gym I would recommend calisthenics. (Push up, pull up, dips etc.) If you have db's at home hit some curls n tricep extensions. (We all know we secretly like doing them!!!)

What are some things we can do to help with balancing the barbell overhead in the snatch?

Skill transfer exercises, like behind the neck snatch grip push press, snatch balance (power and squat) overhead squat.

If CrossFitter’s ruled the world, what's the first rule you'd implement?

Worldwide WODs!
