Site gone bad

We can run, lift, push, pull, carry, climb, hang, hold, hop, skip and jump. We are strong, we are fast. We are co-ordinated, we are agile. We are flexible and balanced. We're ready for anything life throws at us, anywhere, anytime.

Can't build one decent f*cking website.

  1. What are you trying to do with the site? (Besides sharing your thoughts on CrossFit of course).

As an outsider, I'm always interested in what the exact CrossFit workouts are, but I only ever get tidbits. The workouts sound interesting, but I have so many nagging football injuries I don't know if I could do it.

    1. Chris,

I did 8 rounds of P90X, three Insanity and 2 P90X2. Then I switched to CF at the home gym nearly a year ago and are still at it, with my wife and kid 5 days a week. All that on arthritic knees and a torn left meniscus. Do what you can. Doing 50% of your max beats 0% of your max.

  2. My blog is just a place to voice all of the crazy thoughts I have about CrossFit. Just for fun. I love CrossFit and everything about it. But I also recognize how ridiculous we may seem to those not educated or interested in our lifestyle. I'm just saying what we're all thinking and poking a little fun. It's important to stand back and laugh at yourself once in a while.

Anybody can do CrossFit (including you). The workouts are functional - you won't do anything in a CrossFit gym that isn't transferable to your daily life. It's infinitely scalable. Everyone's 'intense' is different. There's a huge community of support and camaraderie and its really fun.

    Get involved. http://www.crossfitobsessed.com/2012/09/crossfit-whats-that.html?m=1

  3. Yea, Anna I'm thinking of trying it out for sure. You're energy and passion is amazing. And, thanks Peter for letting me know that those of us with past injuries can do it!
